FOUR months

Jack hit the four month mark! At his last doctors appointment he weighed 14 pounds 1 ounce and was 25 1/2 inches long (that means he has grown six and a half inches!) According to the growth charts he is long and lean.

Here are some of the shots from his four month photo shoot. The cutest part of this month was taking the pictures with the teddy bear. Last month he didn't even notice it was there...this month he was talking to the bear, reaching out for it and seemed to really want to make friends with Mr. Bear. It was just adorable.

SO proud!

First, I am so proud of myself...I somehow miraculously figured out how to transfer a video I recorded on my cell phone to this website (without my techno husbands help...really, he is at work!).
But really I am SOOOO proud of my little man who has officially learned how to roll over...here is the video to prove it. (it lasts about 70 seconds)

New Toy

We got Jack an early Christmas present...a Jumper entertainment center! Beth Fischer said it reminded her of Las Vegas...so many toys, flashing lights and music. I thought that was funny and right-on so now I call it 'baby vegas'. Jack loves it and will spend endless amounts of time checking out all of the toys and various attachments.

Our Little MONKEY

We couldn't resist (well I couldn't....Erin maybe) dressing up Jack for his first Halloween. Ever since he was born one of my favorite nicknames for him has been 'my little monkey'...so I had to get the monkey costume. He was a pretty darn cute monkey if you ask me!

Fall FUN!

Our little family went to a local 'farm' to enjoy in their fall festival. Went didn't go on the hayride...maybe next year...but we did have fun picking out pumpkins. Our little pumpkin got his own little pumpkin....here are the pictures.

Also...Jack is slowly getting more used to his 'tummy time' as his little neck gets stronger and stronger...here are some funny picutres from a recent session.

Some 'Firsts'

Here are a few cute moments we have captured on film recently. Jack, Erin, my dad, and I all went out to dinner. My dad grabbed a balloon for Jack to playwith while we ate and the little man held onto his balloon for about two hours!! He just kept the string in his hand the whole time....all through dinner, all the way home, and still long enough to sit on our couch and capture these pictures. He was just mesmorized...it was so cute!!
The next pictures are of Jack's first attempts at 'solid food'...some rice cereal. Definitely more ended up on me and his face than in his mouth and he gave us some pretty funny faces. I can't wait until we give him some real food!
The last ones are of his newest discovery...his FEET!! He cannot stop playing with them and loves to nibble on his own toes!
