So, Jack has really taken off in the eating solids department. He just suddenly 'got it' one day and now gladly opens his mouth for a spoon full of greeen beans, carrots, squash, and mac and cheese (pureed of course)to name a few. It is so fun watching him try new things. Here are a few pictures of him eating a 'Baby Mum Mum' which is a rice cracker. Lola was helping him clean up any mess on his hands after the cracker. It is becoming apparent those two are going to be quite the pair.

6 Months!
Another month has flown by! Jack is now officially HALF A YEAR old! He had his six month visit to the doctor and was 26 1/2 inches long and weighed 16 pounds and 10 ounces. He is just about average in those two categories....growing like a little weed!
His newest trick has been learning how to sit up by himself! He still reminds me of a little weeble wobble doll....drifting side to side and correcting himself to sit back up again. It's super cute. He really wants to be on the move these days (it's getting harder and harder to get him to sit still to take a picture) and is doing a semi-scoot, creep thing too.

Last of the Christmas shots...
The last holiday visit we had was from my Aunt Lucille and Uncle Bill. They came to Cincinnati with my parents to see Jack (and Erin and I). It was a great visit. Lucille painted the most amazing picture of an Ice Hockey Player with "Yeatman" on his jersey. I'll have to take a picture of the painting and post it soon....Thanks Lucille!! Great to see you both!

Post-Christmas get togethers
After Christmas we kept the celebration going back in Dayton. We had a great time spending a few hours with Kristen, Tom, Maia, Sherry, Sally, and Ann! Maia was adorable toddling around and investigating everything. She is getting so big..I can't believe how fast they grow up! Once the babies were in bed we left the grandparents in charge and went out to Marion's for a little grown up time...that was great!
The next day the Bishop side of the family came over....Amy, Brian, Mia, Olivia, Darren, Lisa, Charlotte, Liam, Marilyn, Joe, Jess, Sam, and Erin, Jack and I all ate and played and caught up with my mom and dad at their new condo. It is so fun to have all of the kids running around! It's amazing how the family is starting to grow!
I didn't take nearly enough pictures of either day...but here are a few from the two get togethers....
Looks like Kristen will be ready for #2 with out any problem!!

Our little snow angel
There was about 3 feet of snow at the Yeatman house in Canada. The perfect white Christmas! We put Jack in his 'snow suit' and let him make his very first snow angel. (which really was created by him wiggling around in protest to his confining outfit) He wasn't all that impressed with the snow...maybe next year.
The other two pictures are him showing off some of his new clothes....

A Canadian Christmas
Christmas in Canada was packed with fun!! Two car loads of Bishops, Mullens, and Yeatmans (Erin, Jack and I) packed up and drove up north to have a BIG family Christmas in Ballinafad with the Yeatmans. It was such fun to have everyone together! Jack was so lucky to share his first Christmas with both sets of grandparents and aunts and uncles. Pat was full of Christmas cheer and filled our bellies with great food and our car with loads of presents.
Makayla was so happy to spend time with her cousin Jack. We know the two of them will be best buds for many many years to come!!
We have to thank Pat and Mark again for hosting all of us and making this Christmas one we will never forget!! We had a wonderful time!
