We are so excited to announce that our second child was born August 14th at 6:22pm. Charles Michael Yeatman weighed in at 6 pounds and 10 ounces and was 19.75 inches long. He is now five days old and is a wonderful baby! He is a super star at all things baby....sleeping, eating, and ensuring mom and dad have lots of diapers to change.
Jack is slowly adapting to having a baby brother. He loves giving his brother hugs and kisses and hands him toys.....but has also already sprayed his brother with the hose and (lightly and accidentally) hit him with a (plastic) baseball bat. Charlie will be a tough kid with Jack around as he grows up!!
As promised here are some pictures of the last few days and Charlie's introduction to the world! I'll try to keep posts coming, but already I realize it is a lot harder with TWO kids!!
Jack's newest passion these days is baseball. It gets a little scary when he's swinging one of his many new bats in the house, but he's getting pretty good at it.
Today we decided to take him to a local ball diamond with his T-ball set and bases to give him a better first hand understanding of the game. Suffice it to say, he had a blast. We brought along the video camera, and used our shiny new iMac to make a 'Music Video' of the afternoon fun. Please enjoy.
