Mom and baby were given a clear bill of health, and so at approximately 6 pm yesterday, we were able to pack up and leave the hospital. Jack is getting cuter by the minute, and we're absolutely in love with him! Nights haven't been so fun though...
Thank you all for your kind words, phone calls, E-mails, text messages, and comments on this blog. It warms our hearts like you wouldn't believe.
He was smaller than expected, so the go-home outfit that Stacey picked out months ago was way too big. We were able to find a onesie that fit, and a hilariously too big pair of shorts to bring him home in.

Stacey & Erin! What a BEAUTIFUL baby boy! I can't express how excited and happy we are for the both of you. You have created this wonderful little life that now is in your hands to raise, neurture and love. We know that you will both be wonderful parents! We also know that you pick a SUPERB neighborhood to raise him in. We are here if you need anything at all! I can't wait to hold him. He is just a cutie! He is just GORGEOUS, and mom looks great, too!! Congratulations on your new little fella. . .did you ever EVER think you could love anyone as much as you love him? It really makes you realize how much YOUR parents cared about YOU, doesn't it? (It sure did that for me, especially since I thought all those questions they asked me when I was a teenager were asked just to BUG me!!!)
Again, congrats on your wonderful little family; can't wait to meet the little guy!!
