Brotherly Love

Jack has done really well accepting Charlie into 'his' house! :) Most of the time he is very gentle with Charlie and loves to pat his head and give him kisses. He also loves to help grab diapers and always wants to give Charlie his pacifier. Now when he hears Charlie cry he says, "Uh oh, Charlie is crying...he must be hungry." It's all pretty darn cute. I am hoping to have 100s of pictures of the two of them someday, but here are our first few since Charlie arrived.

Our friends from Canada, Charlie (aka Chuck) and Shelley were in town and spent two nights with us hanging out. We had some yummy dinners and quality time by the pool. We took them to our favorite hamburger dive, Terry's Turf Club. (my dad babysat and it was great to have a few hours OUT!...thanks dad!) Erin also took them golfing. It was wonderful to see them and we really wished they lived closer! Here are a few pictures while we were all outside. Jack kept calling Chuck 'that man', but loved the extra attention he got!

The rest of the picture on this post are from a super special party that our neighbors threw to welcome Charlie to the neighborhood. It was SOOO nice, with delicious food and drinks and excellent company! We are so super lucky to have such amazing and kind neighbors!

We let Jack stay up late and come to the party. He wore his jammies, but had a marvelous time with his baseball and bat.

Zero

Somehow three weeks have flown by!  Blogging for #2 is proving to be a bit more difficult, but I am determined to at least put something up every few weeks, so hang in there!  (if you become a 'follower' then Blogger will send you an email to let you know when a new post has been made)

Along with blogging, I am also going to bring back the monthly onsies for Charlie's first year.   I didn't come up with the idea until Jack was 2 months old, so I missed his first few months.  Charlie gets extra special attention and even has Zero pictures!!   Here are some from our photo shoot.    One of the funnier ones is when he was starting to get very hungry and root around.   He somehow found the arm of his doggie stuffed animal (that Jack made him at Build a Bear before he was born) and was trying to eat it.  I love the look on his face, like what the heck is this you are feeding me!?! And to top it off if you look closely he is shooting me the bird. "Come on Mom, I'm hungry over here!"

The last two pictures are showing off another pre-birth project.  Jack made Charlie a very special basketball onsie.   Too cute...

I have more pictures uploaded, so I promise to post more ASAP!
