Christmas was extra fun this year with TWO kids!! Jack really got into the spirit of things. One month later he still sings 'Jingle Bells' on a daily basis. He was in love with Rudolph too and the whole concept of Christmas in general. Charlie was happy just to eat wrapping paper, but was super cute dressed up as Santa.
Here are all of the pictures. I'll post some comments as I go....
Jack and I hung up a really large window decal...Frosty the snowman. Jack had a great time sticking on the various snowman parts. Here he is showing off our finished work.
Jack's favorite stuffed animal at the time, Doug the dog. He now has a new favorite, Shorty the dog (a smaller and more portable version of Doug). He won't go far without Shorty.
Doug and Jack check out the Christmas tree.
Jack giving Frosty a kiss goodnight. The kid knows how to melt my heart.
Time to meet Santa!! He came to visit at the Schuster where my parents live. Jack was actually quite brave. He proudly told Santa his name was 'Jack Yeatman' when asked and just really couldn't take his eyes off of him.
Mrs. Claus was there too...Jack got a personal little meet and greet before Santa headed to his chair.
He told Santa he wanted a basketball for Christmas.
Smile!
My Aunt and Uncle Lucile and Bill were in town for the holidays. Here is our group shot. (yes, Jack was attempting to pick his nose) Later my parents cooked up the most amazingly wonderful meal!
Lucile had the magic touch for getting Charlie to sleep.
My mom gave Charlie this cute little baseball hat.
Reading 'Twas the Night before Christmas' with Jack.
My two BEST Christmas gifts!
Our BIG beautiful tree.
With the excitement of Christmas Jack really didn't want to go to bed...after playing around in his room for quite some time we finally found him passed out on his floor.
Christmas morning...looks like Santa came!
It was pretty early, but Jack was ready to see get down stairs ASAP!
Jack was supposed to go downstairs to wake up Grandma and Grandpa, but became immediately distracted and mesmerized by the toys and presents.
Charlie wasn't quite as excited...
He was just happy playing with tissue paper, wrapping paper and bows.
Family shot.
The Heinzerling-Minty clan sent Charlie this cute rattle...he loved chewing on it!
We had to keep encouraging Jack to open more presents. Once he had a few cool ones he just wanted to stop and play.
Sit and Spin from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Sam. FUN!
Nana and Poppa sent some adorable Maple Leafs winter wear for the boys.
Future hockey player!
A COOL train table from Grandma and Grandpa.
Reindeer shaped pancakes with Rudolph...dosen't get any better on Christmas morning!
All of the Christmas excitement wore Charlie out!
Look at this bowl full of jelly! Cutest little Santa ever!
The two brothers playing with some new toys.
As always, Erin made a DELICIOUS spread for dinner. It was super super yummy!
One last shot...Lola and Lily. Not as much the stars of the show as they were before kids, but still beautiful dogs!
It was a great day! We are already excited for next year!

4 months old!!
Have you all see the Youtube clip of "Charlie bit my finger". I'll put the link here because I think it is so darn cute and funny. The boys remind me of my two, although I think if my Charlie bit Jacks' finger Jack wouldn't be quite so calm about the whole thing.

My Charlie continues to grow with leaps and bounds. He already fits into 6-9 month clothes...he's a BIG boy! In the past few months he has really started to find interest in everything around him. He will grab at anything within reach and pick it up and study it and most likely put it in his mouth. He has mastered rolling over, but still doesn't really like to spend all that much time on his belly. He lets out some fabulous squeals and still has a very cute little chuckle of a laugh. I know as always I am very late getting these pictures up here....but without further delay, here are some shots from Charlie's four month photo shoot....
And hopefully by the end of January I will actually get to blogging about Christmas. Ahhh...not enough hours in the day!

GOBBLE GOBBLE
Jessica and Sam were WONDERFUL Thanksgiving hosts! They had our family, Grandma and Grandpa and the whole Fischer clan over for a big turkey feast! We stuffed ourselves silly, drank and played games. Jack was kept quite entertained with the HUGE turkey balloon that Grandpa bought for him and with helping us all eat the cute pilgrim hats Jessica made out of chocolate marshmallows (YUM...see below). We had a fabulous time...thanks again Jess and Sam!!
The Friday after Thanksgiving was the downtown Dayton Christmas parade. They had kids activities, horse drawn carriage rides, trains, rides, food, an official tree lighting, and then the parade. It was very festive! Jacks favorites were definitely the horse ride, the carnival rides, the cool train display, and watching them light the VERY big tree. Charlie was bundled to the max and delightfully slept through most of the night. We will look forward to this fun night in Dayton every year!
This post also includes pictures of Christmas preparation at our house. Jack has been quite enthusiastic about Christmas this year. We hung a string of lights up in his room a bit before Thanksgiving and he was SOOOO excited! He also wanted to help us decorate the tree and house. We had a fun advent calendar that had a special treat for him each day. It was hard to keep his hands off of future treats, but neat to watch his excitement over getting something small each day. (piece of candy or a matchbox car) We also had a special visitor at our house prior to Christmas...Christopher the Elf. Christopher was sent special from the North pole and had a new hiding place each morning between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Jack would run downstairs in the morning to look for Christopher. The magic of Christmas was certainly alive at our house this year. Fun for the parents too!! Little Charlie will have his turn in years to come. This year he just had fun slobbering on our ornaments and lights!
There are a few pictures at the end showing off Charlie's cute little face and fat rolls. I just can't help kiss those cheeks every chance I get!
Oh...and just because he is in so many pictures, I have to give a shout out to Doug the dog. Jack has become quite attached to a few certain stuffed animals as of late. He cannot go anywhere without one of his "friends" in tow. Doug was the super favorite for a good two months. He now has moved onto a smaller doggie, whom he has named Shorty. I am sure you will see Shorty in future pictures...
