Christmas 2010

Christmas was extra fun this year with TWO kids!!  Jack really got into the spirit of things.  One month later he still sings 'Jingle Bells' on a daily basis.   He was in love with Rudolph too and the whole concept of Christmas in general.   Charlie was happy just to eat wrapping paper, but was super cute dressed up as Santa.
Here are all of the pictures.  I'll post some comments as I go....

Jack and I hung up a really large window decal...Frosty the snowman.   Jack had a great time sticking on the various snowman parts.   Here he is showing off our finished work.

Jack's favorite stuffed animal at the time, Doug the dog.  He now has a new favorite, Shorty the dog (a smaller and more portable version of Doug).   He won't go far without Shorty.

Doug and Jack check out the Christmas tree.

Jack giving Frosty a kiss goodnight.  The kid knows how to melt my heart.

Time to meet Santa!!  He came to visit at the Schuster where my parents live.  Jack was actually quite brave.   He proudly told Santa his name was 'Jack Yeatman' when asked and just really couldn't take his eyes off of him.

Mrs. Claus was there too...Jack got a personal little meet and greet before Santa headed to his chair.

He told Santa he wanted a basketball for Christmas.

Smile!

My Aunt and Uncle Lucile and Bill were in town for the holidays.  Here is our group shot. (yes, Jack was attempting to pick his nose)  Later my parents cooked up the most amazingly wonderful meal!

Lucile had the magic touch for getting Charlie to sleep.

My mom gave Charlie this cute little baseball hat.

Reading 'Twas the Night before Christmas' with Jack.

My two BEST Christmas gifts!

Our BIG beautiful tree.

With the excitement of Christmas Jack really didn't want to go to bed...after playing around in his room for quite some time we finally found him passed out on his floor.

Christmas morning...looks like Santa came!

It was pretty early, but Jack was ready to see get down stairs ASAP!

Jack was supposed to go downstairs to wake up Grandma and Grandpa, but became immediately distracted and mesmerized by the toys and presents.

Charlie wasn't quite as excited...

He was just happy playing with tissue paper, wrapping paper and bows.

Family shot.

The Heinzerling-Minty clan sent Charlie this cute rattle...he loved chewing on it!

We had to keep encouraging Jack to open more presents.  Once he had a few cool ones he just wanted to stop and play.

Sit and Spin from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Sam.  FUN!

Nana and Poppa sent some adorable Maple Leafs winter wear for the boys.

Future hockey player!

A COOL train table from Grandma and Grandpa.

Reindeer shaped pancakes with Rudolph...dosen't get any better on Christmas morning!

All of the Christmas excitement wore Charlie out!

Look at this bowl full of jelly!  Cutest little Santa ever!

The two brothers playing with some new toys.

As always, Erin made a DELICIOUS spread for dinner.   It was super super yummy!

One last shot...Lola and Lily.  Not as much the stars of the show as they were before kids, but still beautiful dogs!

It was a great day!  We are already excited for next year!
