Here are a few more shots from the boys first bath together.   They were crammed in a pretty tiny duck tub, but were quite well behaved.  Jack had fun identifying various tub letters and Charlie had fun chewing on them.   Overall, a successful first brotherly bath.
After that are some shots of Charlie's first sit in the sink bath.   He ended up in there after an explosively horrible diaper, but once washed off enjoyed a few minutes of playing with the water.
Next are a few more of Charlie.  I like the ones of him and Lola.  He puts up with Lola licking him all of the time and actually shows a lot of interest in her.
Finally is a picture I snapped of Jack one morning.  He came down stairs trying to hold every single security object he loves.  Shorty the dog, Doug the dog, football blanket, pacifier and a ball of course.

Charlie SEVEN months

Charlie had a wonderful seventh month.   He got his first TWO teeth!   He is also developing more and more of a personality.   He can sit up completely on his own which gives him so much new freedom.   He has also started to figure out the art of crawling.   He loves action and seems to be happy in places which are full of new lights and sounds.   He seems to love grocery shopping with his dad.   He has really started using his voice and babbles away.   He does a deep grunting noise which cracks us up.   He has a bit of separation anxiety and isn't too happy to be left all on his own.   He is also not the biggest fan of eating anything but liquids from a bottle.  He  spits out most bites of baby food.   We thought due to his plump size he would chow down on food, but not yet.  And....the BEST part about this past month is that he has finally seemed to figure out how to sleep.   We have even had a few nights of 12 hours straight!   Hallelujah!  (now if only his big brother would stay in his bed we would be golden!)    Here are some pictures of him at seven months.

We tweeted this, but felt it was worth a full post. Our little guy Charlie is crawling!

Quick Update

Here's a little fun video we recorded of Charlie this morning while the four of us were in the kitchen.


Blogging seems to have taken a backseat to everyday life around here. It's a little tough to sit down, and do big updates. We will try to post more (like you've never heard that before). 


In the meantime, we've made a couple minor changes to the layout. We have added a Recent Comments feed to the right, with the idea of more interaction. And we've brought back the twitter feed. We are going to use this to post the 'little things' that happen in everyday life, but don't necessarily need a full blog post. We hope you enjoy it, please follow us @yeatmanadvntrs.
